On November 4, TRON founder Justin Sun announced on Twitter that he was invited to the “NFT BUSAN 2021” online event held by the Busan government and Busan Blockchain Industry Association, and was interviewed. As the sponsorship, TRON and “NFT BUSAN 2021” also jointly launched the NFT minting campaign of the Busan mascot, Budlers. This campaign will go live on November 4, where a total of 2,030 Budlers will be issued on the TRON blockchain. Attendants of this meeting can claim their Budler in the TronLink wallet after the event concludes.

This marks another official recognition Justin Sun and TRON have gained after Valkyrie, where Justin Sun is the biggest strategic shareholder, was approved by the U.S. government to list its futures-based Bitcoin ETF.

Global regulations on digital assets are being tightened against the backdrop of the constantly rising crypto popularity: South Korea is cracking down on the cryptocurrency market, the U.S. is also ramping up regulations on the market with a focus on stablecoins, and China has introduced its toughest regulation with ten government departments issuing notices together. In response, many crypto giants have announced that they would cease their business permanently amid this regulatory upheaval. However, TRON is making headway on its journey to be a compliant player under Justin Sun’s leadership and keeps building its ecosystem and global presence in the middle of the government’s clampdown.

Since September, TRON has been winning recognition from one mainstream crypto market after another. TRON’s rapid pace towards globalization and compliance has been embodied in a series of achievements: TRX, the native token of the TRON MainNet, has been listed on the largest crypto asset exchange in Japan — Huobi Japan; it has launched Valkyrie TRON Trust jointly with its new strategic partner Valkyrie Investments; moreover, VTRX of TRON has gained BaFin’s approval to be listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra and other major European exchanges.

As Justin Sun said in the interview, various countries, represented by Korea, have gradually increased their acceptance of the crypto industry in recent years, creating a more inclusive environment for the development of NFT and metaverse, which will become the trend of the future. TRON has always been committed to the construction of decentralized financial infrastructure, and now the daily clearing amount has reached $10 billion, leading in many popular fields such as DeFi, NFT, DApp, stable coin and distributed storage. In the future, TRON will devote 50% of its energy to the building of the metaverse, and further a world of ”connecting all chains”.

TRON’s MainNet is one of the largest blockchain-based operating system protocols for decentralized applications, building a sound ecosystem of underlying protocol, smart contracts, and a NFT and metadata storage system. TRON’s previous partners include Samsung, Opera Browser, and Swisscom Blockchain, the blockchain subsidiary of Swisscom. As of now, the total number of accounts has exceeded 59 million and the number of transactions has reached 2.5 billion. On October 30, BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) was released, together with the launch of the TestNet.

NFT of Busan’s mascot being sold on TRON attests to the Busan government’s endorsement of TRON as well as the influence of TRON and its founder Justin Sun in the blockchain industry.
