On November the 19th, 2021, Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the third “Belt and Road” construction forum, making important arrangements to ensure the continuous development of the “Belt and Road Initiative” in the new era. Since the “Belt and Road Initiative” was first proposed eight years ago, China has established cooperative relations with 140 countries and more than 30 international organizations. China have worked with relevant countries to promote peace and common development, made solid progress in facilities connectivity, and jointly built the “Belt and Road Initiative”, which is continuously moving towards a higher quality development.
In order to promote the international cooperation between radio, television and audio-visual network industries, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau will broadcast the 4th “Belt and Road” Science and Technology Development Forum on November the 26th, 2021. The forum will discuss the needs and plans for development of radio, television, and audio-visual network industries, share successful experiences and seek win-win cooperation to explore the “Belt and Road Initiative”. Through the forum, we will further implement the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the guiding spirit addressed by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the third the “Belt and Road Initiative” construction forum. It’ll also strengthen international exchanges and cooperation among related enterprises in the fields of media science and technology in Beijing, and encourage scientific and technological enterprises to explore the international market and jointly meet the challenges of the times.
With the growing influence of the “Belt and Road” Science and Technology Development forum,more international participation and a wider range of participants has been attracted this year. In order to promote, expand and showcase the achievements of Beijing radio, television and audio-visual technology internationally, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau took innovative measures to hold the “promotion activities of broadcasting science and technology products” in the same forum. Enterprises participate in promoting innovative products and technical solutions through live streaming and interact with audiences online. The activity aims to create more diversified and open opportunities for communication and cooperation for radio, television, and audio-visual workers in the countries along the BRI route, and to build an international platform for product promotion for science and technology enterprises.
