HiPhi, a luxurious brand of all-electric vehicles created by Human Horizons, was unveiled on July 31, 2019. The first production car, the HiPhi 1, is breaking boundaries in many fields. Let’s get right into it.

First, the HiPhi 1 gets rid of the design of traditional gasoline cars completely and creates a brand-new body shape and cabin space. In addition, the HiPhi adopts the design of rear-hinged doors and foregoes handles altogether. All doors could be closed and opened through the smart system.

Second, interior design of the HiPhi 1 also indicates its innovative spirit. Six seats are deployed by two seats per row. Three screens are respectively deployed in three areas (driver, central control and copilot), which considers the experience for all occupants in the car.

The HiPhi 1’s real-time monitoring of drivers’ body temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate guarantees its driving safety through smart systems further as well.

Kropp brings extensive premium experience from her time at Bugatti and will guide the experience design of the first production car of HiPhi. Certainly, HiPhi will also bring an opportunity for Kropp to help create a new premium electric brand. HiPhi owns artistic qualities by itself in fact, using multi-dimension design and integrating every innovative idea into its driving experience. Both interior and exterior design is an infusion of technology and art, hoping to bring an enjoyable driving experience to users. And such characteristics will be more prominent after Kropp’s addition. She is said to instill more vitality to products’ design and create more possibilities.

It is reported that Ding Lei, chairman and founder of Human Horizons, not only pays attention to produce smart vehicles, but also focuses on human future mobility at large. Looking at recent developments of the Human Horizons, smart vehicles are only his first step in the bigger strategic layout. It could be seen from the “3-Smart” strategy (“Smart Vehicle, Smart Transportation and Smart City”) presented by the Human Horizons. Starting from the production of “Smart Vehicle” and through data collection, sharing and AI technology, “Smart Transportation” mainly relies on autonomous driving and collaboration between roads and vehicles, and ultimately to realize “Smart City” in the future where cars, roads, and cities can communicate and work together.

Sources have revealed that the first mass-production car of HiPhi – the HiPhi 1 will reach production by end of 2020 and delivery to the market in 2021. Will HiPhi change the world of electric cars and become Cristiano Ronaldo’s favorite car after Camilla Kropp’s addition? Let’s keep expecting.
